                                                                                  Love Lifted Me

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  St. John 3:16 KJV

Neuropathy is a very painful disease. It wakes me up at midnight with pain and a burning so bad in my feet and legs that I have to get out of bed and start moving about and get busy doing something to get my mind off of the pain.

So here I am in this devotional, talking to Jesus, asking for His guidance as I try to lift up His precious Name. I have learned that the more I praise Him the less I hurt, because my heart is going in the right direction. I have found that He is so much greater that the pain. Pain is of no essence when we are hid in The Cleft of The Rock and He covers us with His hand.

God loved us so much that He gave a sacrifice, His Only Begotten Son, Jesus. This pain we bear is a part of our walk with Christ.

Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe, sin had left a crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.

The Blood of Jesus is our healing power. He does not always allow us to be healed in the frailties of these bodies. Yet, when we have the Faith of a little grain of mustard seed, we are on our way to growing into the person that has the privilege of walking with Him. He is greater!

Humor your pain, thank Him for it and rest your heart in Jesus. Remember to walk hand and hand with Him. “It will be worth it all when we see Jesus”. Place your pain and your anxieties on Jesus who is ready to bear them for you. Yes, this will make you humble, but it will be worth it all one day!
