2nd Annual Walk, Run, Glow 5k: Lighting the way for a cure!

The 2nd Annual Walk, Run, Glow 5k: Lighting the way for the Cure was a huge success.  Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center partnered with NorthWest Florida Community Center to promote awareness and raise funds for American Cancer Society.

The 5k garnered over 200 runners, volunteers, and staff all glowing and excited about the race.  The Kid’s 1 mile Fun Run/Walk/Bike was held first and the winners of that race were Kaden Creamer and Maggie Clifton. The overall winner of the 5k was Austin Lambert of Georgia.

The night ended with Talk-O-the-Town winning the trophy for the most registrants from a business.  Dena Cooper of NWFCH and I would like to thank all of the runners, staff, and volunteers who helped make this a success.
