Mr. Willie Andrews, Jr. of Chipley, 86, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 29, 2015 in the Southeast Alabama Medical Center of Dothan, Alabama. He was of the Methodist Faith and a member of Grant Tabernacle A.M.E. Church. He served three years in the U.S. Navy, and also did masonry construction.

He is survived by his children, Tommie Lee Andrews (Jeanetta) of Chipley, Willie Mae Hines (David), Cora Andrews, both of Brunswick, Georgia, and Ronnie Andrews of Brooklyn, New York, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, aunt Rosa Lee Graham, as well as other relatives and friends.  Home going services were held at 11 AM on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from the sanctuary of Grant Tabernacle A.M.E. Church of Chipley, with Reverend Sandra Jones, Elder Stephen Andrews, Superintendent David Woods, Jr.,  Reverend George Williams, and Reverend Tony Davis, officiating. Committal services will follow in the Saint Joseph Cemetery of Chipley. Mr. Andrews was in state at the church from 10 AM, Thursday, until time for services to start at 11 AM with the Cooper Funeral Home of Chipley, directing.
