It is always a pleasure to have the Chipley Head Start children come visit our home. The children bring so much fun and laughter to our elders, and our elders give them hugs and help them with their projects. This intergenerational program has been consistently active since 2012.
This month, the children were able to come and share new songs that they have learned, including a rendition of Frozen’s “Let it Go.” The elders enjoy the interaction and are able to give back by helping the children color or create a project. It’s a win-win! Our elders are looking forward to next month when the children come back for Valentine’s Day!
